Lifeline Macarthur and Western Sydney participated in the Canterbury Bankstown City International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination on 8 April.
Wendy and Jess from the Suicide Prevention team attended and gave a talk at the IDRED conference at the Bryan Brown Theatre and Function Centre, Bankstown.
The event included guest speakers sharing their experiences with racism in their lives and joining in activities with other attendees, an anti-racism clothesline exhibition, information stalls and interactive games.
Jess gave a talk on the services that Lifeline offers and how we can support people in their time of crisis.
