Representatives from Lifeline Macarthur and Western Sydney attended the Safe Haven Campbelltown open day on Sunday 16 June.
There was a barber offering haircuts, Talk2mebro had ice baths and breathwork classes, and Mr Perfect cooked the BBQ, which was donated by We Are Community.
It was heartwarming to hear from guest speaker Ken Barnard, a bereaved father who lost his son Aaron to suicide in 2014.
Safe Haven is a suicidal ideation drop-in centre, where guests can access a peer worker for support outside of usual Monday to Friday 9-5 hours.
